Jamaica Street Lane Closure – Trail Construction Project

Starting Tuesday, December 16, construction will begin on a new trail along the east side of Jamaica Street. This trail will connect Sarah’s Place Park dog park to the existing sidewalk at San Luis Street, improving pedestrian access and connectivity in the area.

Traffic Impact:

• One northbound lane on Jamaica Street will be closed during construction.
• One northbound lane will remain open to allow traffic to continue flowing.
• Southbound lanes will not be affected.

Estimated Completion: February 2026 (weather permitting)

Please use caution when traveling through the work zone and allow extra time for your commute.
